The National Weather Service provides this great site that provides you with "Almost" real time imagery of the weather conditions in a specific area.
This page opens to an image of Delaware, it trys to load a script it needs (java script), so if you do not have it loaded already it will ask you to load it by clicking "OK" or "Continue" depending on your computer. Once you have loaded the java script the screen should come alive with the weather pattern shifting across the screen.
You can also drag the image with your mouse by holding down the "Left" mouse button and moving your mouse, up, down, left or right. You can also left click (of your mouse) while it is over a specific part of the image and it will zoom in.
If you need to know what the current weather pattern is for a specific area, there is no better way, unless you are able to step out side and look for yourself.
